Jet

A near-black tape with a subtle woven texture. Works with any blind colour — particularly striking against light fabrics.

All tapes are woven fabric, approximately 25mm wide, and applied to the full length of the bottom bar. Included free with every blind.

Tip

Match your tape to your window hardware — door handles, curtain poles, and picture frames — for a considered, coordinated look.

How To

Measure

The cassette, bottom bar, and brackets are all available in four hardware finishes. The finish ships pre-assembled — nothing to match or source separately.

Measure the width

Measure the internal width of the window recess at three points — top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest of the three measurements.

We deduct 10mm automatically when manufacturing inside recess blinds to allow the blind to drop cleanly without rubbing the sides.

Measure the drop

Measure from the top of the recess to the window sill. This gives your blind drop. Measure at two points — left and right — and use the larger measurement.

Give the drop measurement to the nearest millimetre. A blind that's 2–3mm short will show a gap at the sill.

Check for obstructions

Look for window handles, trickle vents, or sills that protrude into the recess. If any do, you'll need an outside recess fitting — switch the toggle above.

A window handle is the most common obstruction. Even 15mm of protrusion will prevent an inside-fit blind from rolling down fully.

Note your measurements & order

Enter your width and drop in millimetres when ordering. That's all we need. We'll cut your blind to size and ship it pre-assembled with all fixings.

Double-check by measuring again before ordering — we manufacture to the exact dimensions given and can't adjust once cutting has begun.

Tip

For inside recess: measure in millimetres. We'll deduct 10mm from your width automatically so the blind drops freely without touching the sides.
